Description

A trip to experience the history and culture of the sake capital of Saijo

Saijo is a place for sake. There are seven sake breweries around JR Saijo Station, with rows of red brick chimneys and streets of white walls and namako walls. Counted as one of Japan's three most famous breweries, "Sake City Saijo" has been a leader in Japanese sake brewing since the era of Senzaburo Miura, a sake brewer from Mitsu, Akitsu-cho, in 1899. It's good to think about the nostalgic townscape, and it's good to get in touch with history through tasting. You can enjoy sake brewery in your favorite way. In addition, the hotel overlooking the townscape of Saijo has a work space "cocostyle" that is free for guests to use, and a meeting room "LaPlace". Stay at Aki Kokubunji, one of the Kokubunji temples established in each of 66 countries nationwide under the imperial edict of Emperor Shomu during the Nara period. Please enjoy the trip to feel the history and culture.
